Kerama Marazzi presents new collection ''Dreams of Paris''

Kerama Marazzi inaugurated a new collection of ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles and mosaics at the international construction and interior exhibition. The new collection entitled ''Dreams of Paris'' translated the guests of the thematic stand to a busy street of the French capital abounding with traditional flower shops, fragrant coffee, croissants, and, naturally, a carousel enticing with its lights.

A city adored by poets, painters and musicians, Paris does not cease to surprise and continues to reveal the multitude of its facets to the world. The source of inspiration for this new collection is four locations that are known and loved by the residents of this city: the Parisian metro and the Bercy district, the conceptual district Le Marais, blossoming gardens and parks, and the grandiose Palais Garnier opera house. The atmosphere of metropolitan streets, their character, mood, and intricate details were reflected by the Kerama Marazzi designers in an array of new series.

''The trip'' through the collection starts with an acquaintance with the Parisian metro. Its widely known sinuous ironwork above the entrance made the French underground a striking symbol of the Art Nouveau style. The interior of the metro stations is characterized by their easily recognized laconic style. Its signature feature – white and colored ceramic tiles on the walls and ceilings – became the groundwork for the ''metro'' style.

The next stop of the tour is Le Marais, one of the symbolic districts of Paris famous for its contrasts. The foundations of old buildings and numerous attics and mansards, the luxury of high-end boutiques and the spirit of concept stores blend with one another, while modern art galleries are found side by side with the works of street artists.

A stroll around the garden is a perfect opportunity to enjoy flowers. Thanks to the array of decorative, park and hothouse plants, Paris can be rightfully called a blossoming capital. The Parisians’ affinity for flowers is reflected in the regular geometry of a conventional French park and the quaint lines of the Art Nouveau style. Capturing and interpreting the beauty of the world of plants became possible thanks to the combination of high-quality printing and special granules, as well as replication of the elements of art mosaics.

The monumental building of the Palais Garnier opera house is world famous for its grandiose interior, with the outstanding main staircase featuring three shades of marble. The decorative mosaics, travertine and luxurious marble carpets – all of these elements belong to various branches of classical style, but are united by the presence of stone and marble, the key to the ''eternal'' interior which will never lose its appeal.

Among the new additions of the 2018 collection ''Dreams of Paris'' are the new formats of porcelain tiles 80х80 and 80х160 and ceramic wood 20х160, lappato MAXI formats 120x240, and lavish decorative carpets. The lineup of small formats saw an addition of the 12x10 hexagon.

The new collection ''Dreams of Paris'' unveiled at exhibition became a strong, exciting experience for the guests of the exhibition. Despite the relaxing and romantic atmosphere, the stand designed as a light and busy Parisian street transformed into a business platform for customers and partners of the company who interacted with the managers sitting at the tables of the cozy Parisian cafe.

According to the results of the contest held during International Construction and Interior Exhibition, Kerama Marazzi once again won in ''The Best Stand Design'' nomination. Traditionally, the Kerama Marazzi stand at exhibition reflects the main theme of the new collection of ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles and mosaics, which this year has been given a romantic name ''Dreams of Paris''. Each day of the exhibition, visitors immediately found themselves on a busy Parisian street with its unique atmosphere – flower shops, elegant facades, cozy coffee shops, and, naturally, music. A glowing carousel at the back of the stand, one of the most favored symbols of the city, was a magnet for all, from young ones to adults. Another perk contributing to the festive atmosphere for all guests was an opportunity to send a real postcard from Paris to your friends and family.

The exhibition is drawing to a close, but what is staying with us is the feeling of a feast and joy of life. After all, Paris, as Ernest Hemingway wrote, is a ''moveable feast''. May the new Kerama Marazzi collection accompany you all year long like a feast, and may your dreams of Paris come true.
